"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Bald River GorgeThis gorge is a gem. It's fairly isolated from areas of high development and far from any major roads. The main trail follows the river between the northern and southern borders of the wilderness. There are dozens of waterfalls along the trail, with the finest one being at the northern border of the wilderness: Bald River Falls.
