"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

SW Buttress 5.10aClimbed the awesome SW buttress. This should be a classic, but due to the long 20 mile approach we were the only ones. Totally epic route leading to a beautiful summit view.

Amphitheater, Cathedral, The Pope, Remmel3 days out with Heather. We camped both nights at upper Cathedral Lake. The first day it rained on us continuously. The scramble on Cathedral was short but very interesting and memorable. Klenke did a great job in his description.

Cathedral Slam + Remmel Mtn.Winds were too strong to feel comfortable jumping the final gap. Didn't make it to the flags.

NE RidgeA neat scramble up an impressive peak. Bring the rope if uncomfortable with exposure.

No CigarWas shut down by the final gap. Strong winds from the south blew away our confidence.

Ascent of NE RidgeMy daughter and I climbed the NE Ridge of Cathedral Pk. and had a great outing. The route was easier than it looked like it might be (none of the intimidating vast exposure of the South and East faces), but each of the 7 pitches had at least a couple of 5.3 moves and some easy scrambling. The rock and protection was good throughout, and the view from the top was wonderful. We were glad to have a rope for the top moves of the walk up...
