November of 2014. Rucu Pichincha, Antisana, Cotopaxi. Missed both big ones a bit short of the summit, so I look forward to coming back for another chance. Nice people, good potato soup, impressive volcanos..

Amazing part of the world.
I want to go back and do some other mountains/volcanoes in this area.
Climbed Rucu Pichincha, Iliniza Norte, Iliniza Sur, Cotopaxi and Chimborazo on a three week trip with my lovely wife. Beautiful northern Andes mountains!

One of the world's highest active volcanoes.
I love this range, mostly cause one of the world's highest active volcanoes is in it, Cotopaxi (5,897 m / 19,347 ft) which I climb it very often.
The weather here is very variable due to the humidity that comes from the Amazon rain forest, not too far from here.
