Drove up as far as I could, then easy hike to the top. Did Monte Cristo earlier and Franklin County Idaho HP after.

Neat drive
Enjoyed the drive over highway 39 from Ogden and picking up Monte Cristo on the way. The Woodruff and Randolf area has an interesting pioneer history that makes you appreciate the hardiness of the early settlers and ranchers. The drive up to near the summit was on decent gravel and dirt roads but I might not want to take street tires on a passenger vehicle up them as there are many sharp rocks along the way. Nice views from the interesting summit area but an easy hike up from where I parked my truck.

Rex Peak
It was a stormy day so it was the perfect time to drive to Rex Peak. Also went to points west of the summit which had a great view down the face of the mountain and of the meanders of the Bear River.
