Stimson and Frailey
We hiked up Stimson even though the gate was unlocked, after which we drove up Frailey. Apparently the gate is unlocked on weekdays until 3:30pm.

Logger dodger
Good early spring conditioner. Better views than I expected. Watch out for logging trucks on a weekday!

Morning Hike
Good trip for the day after Christmas. Snowshoed from 1,700', socked in at the summit. Quick and simple.

Easy to find, nice views on the approach. The last spur road is starting to get overgrown, still easy to find.

Clearcut Snow Blanket
Duane and I found snow above 1500 ft with 3 to 4 feet on the summit. Noisy dogs at a house part way up the road. They didn't come too close to us though.

A Great Snowshoe Trip!
With questionable snow conditions at higher elevations, we decided on Stimson Hill. Sure, it has low elevation and is a road walk/snowshoe, but it is still one of Washington's Top 200 most prominent peaks. We followed it up by also ascending neighboring Mount Washington, just across the county line.

Nice spring hike
This is a nice little summit with decent views. Had lots of post-holing. Also did adjacent Mt. Washington.

Stimson
Did this one in deep winter powder and regretted not bringing the snowshoes despite the low elevation.

Great Views
This is a great hike if your looking for something that is straight forward with good elevation gain. The sunset was amazing the evening I was on the Summit.
