Nice Clear Day
Hiked it from the bottom of the 4x4 road. Breezy with great views.

My wife and I were staying in Colorado Springs for the long weekend and this seemed like a nice one to try with snowshoes. There wasn't enough snow for the "shoes" so we postholed our way to the top. The weather really moved in while on the summit and we were greeted with large blowing flakes on our retreat. There were two inches of new snow on the Subaru upon our return. A little slick on the way out is an understatement.

West Slope
I visited this humble little peak after Blue Mountain en route to my cabin after running some errands. I especially enjoyed the close-up views of Pilot Peak. Partner: Solo. Dog: Stimpy.
