fun ridge, alternate accessStarted up to ridge via a gully by one of the upper mining cabins. Not bad quality and quicker than going around to other side. Traverse to Pacific after.

SunburnOh, I got so friggin' sunburned on this day. We had a HUGE snowpack, and the day was bright and sunny. There was no sunscreen on earth that could protect my lily white face!!!

Oh yeah!What a day! That ridge is an awesome winter climb. Even in a whiteout blizzard. Climbed with Mike B. to 300 ft from summit. I'll be back a couple more times no doubt.

winter west ridgegreat route in winter and a perfect day. almost now wind! route has a classic mountaineering feel. a must-climb in winter
