A view of the seldom-seen... | [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
A view of the seldom-seen South Face of Half Dome, scene of many epics, including the famous Warren Harding winter ascent, rescued by R. Robbins & others. The tourist route can be seen as a thin, white, diagonal line near the right skyline. October 11, 2003 Comments[ Post a Comment ] | Nate D | I want more! | |
Hasn't voted | Do you happen to have 3/4 aerials like this of other domes in the Sierras? (I saw those for Daff Dome.) I'm drooling... | | Posted Jan 26, 2005 8:54 pm |

Hasn't voted | Nate, while Barry has lots of stellar aerials of the Sierra, I can also recommend a book that I recently bought in a used shop - Above Yosemite. The imagery there is simply unreal. Here is the link | | Posted Jan 26, 2005 9:06 pm |

Voted 10/10 | I guess once someone has made it to the Dome, why go further. Well, this shows why. Nice to see. And although I've completed the Cable Route, I'd not realised how much a large portion of the route there is below the terrace.
Very nice. | | Posted Jan 26, 2010 7:06 pm |
