"Bushwhack Route" #2

Solid climber's trail at the top of the break that leads to J. Gordon Edwards' "Bushwhack Route" to Snow Moon Basin. Photo taken on the descent. From this point, the trail is very steep but very easy to follow. Sherburne Reservoir, with seasonally low waters, is visible below. Mount Henkel (left), Altyn Peak (in front of and to the right, near center) and Apikuni Mountain (behind and to the right) form a nice trio of peaks to the north. September 10, 2013
