Continuing down the Snow Moon Basin "Bushwhack Route" towards the Cracker Lake Trail. Sherburne Reservoir, with seasonally low waters, is visible below. Farther back is Swiftcurrent Lake with Many Glacier Hotel on its eastern shore. Enlarge for a glimpse of Chief Two Guns, a historic wooden boat operated by the Glacier Park Boat Company. In the far distance you can make out the snowy summits of Ipasha Peak (L) and Mount Merritt (R) behind the Ptarmigan Wall. The peaks immediately above and right of the hotel are, from left to right: Mount Henkel, Altyn Peak and Apikuni Mountain. September 10, 2013
