Visions of the Dream Walker

As seen from the Teacup Trail, the first of a series of Arizona storms leave snow on the highest elevations of Sedona, including Wilson Mountain. In the foreground are the red rock behemoths of "The Sphinx" (left) and Cibola Mitten (right). You can envision the precautions that must be taken when attempting to climb a sandstone tower in these types of conditions. Five feet of snow is predicted for Arizona mountains (above 6,500 ft) by tomorrow. Golly gee, guess it's time to dig those snowshoes out of the closet !!! January 20, 2010
