100m high and over 300m long...

100m high and over 300m long Maslenicki Most (Maslenica Bridge) spans over Novsko Zdrilo (Novsko Gorge), which connects Velebit channel and Novigradsko More sea. Bridge is part of Zagreb-Zadar-Split highway and is frequently closed because of Bura wind which blows from Velebit. Record Bura gust of 305kmh/190mph was measured here! Before glacial period Novsko Zdrilo gorge was the canyon of Zrmanja river but as sea levels raised it became part of the world sea. Behind is South Velebit, Paklenica area. Above the bridge is Viserujna (1632m). Black peak left of Viserujna is Veliki Golic (1268m). By the right edge is Crljeni Kuk (1661m).
