1910 Summit Party

The Ellison Expedition on the summit of Crown Mountain in July 1910. I love the coquettish tilt of Myra's head as she looks at the camera. Very "it" in 1910. And I do believe the gentleman on the right is wearing a tie! Original on display in the Museum at Campbell River. Exhibit #10148

taste of victory I'm sure Martin - a summit with some climbing history behind it that is difficult to reach...I think climbing doesn't get better than this! congrats again.

Many thanks Radek. Crown was a wonderful and worthwhile objective. Probably the highlight of the season for me.
