1st April 1994, we left Neltner hut (3,207 m = 10,521 ft) in Mizane Valley. Beside it, we've spent 3 nights in a tent. The snow is brown because of Sahara's nearness, sands blown by the wind darken the white surfaces. Left: Tizi (col) n'Ougane (3,750 m / 12,303 ft). Right: a 4-thousand-meter called Akioud forms 3 summits (Tadaft, Central and North).
