Please bring me up-to-date ...On this route going to Bow Lake, are
"canyoneering" skills necessary? What type of
equipment??? Wet suits ???
Is this a true ice cave, or is it just a
canyon cut into the rocks? Seems like a
person would be mighty tired and hungry
after taking this route, and would be
fortunate to reach the "dryness" of the Hut!
Very interesting picture! What makes it so
attractive is it causes people to ask
questions and to THINK a little bit.
Don't you see the steam comin' out my ears?
Are you old enough to remember Bachman-Turner
Overdrive??? What a great band IMHO.
Thanks, & I hope to see more photos from you.

Re: Please bring me up-to-date ...Hi Larry
You go above the canyons except in winter when you ski the next canyon. MMMhhh what a great idea. I'm going to take my drysuit next time. But regardless the hut is indeed a welcome sight and you always hope someone got there first and has the fire going and the water on melt! Thanks Larry, I try only to put in informative photos and not be too redundant. I guess I have to go more places!

Re: Please bring me up-to-date ...No, no - I was just "suggesting" that you
share what you can and the BEST that you can.
Do you have experience in "canyoneering," or
is "cross-country skiing" your cup of tea???
Yes, that Hut sounds great right now. Perhaps
there could be somebody with a rhythm guitar,
strumming the hits of Bachman-Turner Overdrive ??????
Where does a person obtain a "drysuit?"
REI, perhaps? Have a very nice day!!! :)

Re: Please bring me up-to-date ...I do canyons and love it. I love skiing in any form so... do both...mmmhhh!!!! hahaha BTO - definitely Canadian! But no, just a warm hut. Drysuit, well, I guess any outdoor store probably. They are better than wet suits cuz you stay dry! sorry, couldn't help it.

Re: Please bring me up-to-date ...What's this about a meteor streaking across
the sky in Western Canada ??? ???
It reminds me of that old standard by The
Guess Who - "Truckin' Off Across the Sky!!!
