2007 SP Gathering
The 2007 Gatheing in the mighty San Juan was a huge success! We climbed Golden Horn (pointed peak in background) during a remarkably cool and calm San Juan day. From left to right are: vanny37, jeffrawn, kilimanjaro1, ktimm, Aaron Johnson, chicagotransplant(who climbed Vermillion and Fuller Peaks also pictured), Kane, denmtnman and mtnhiker13. The photo was taken by BarbaraBailey. More info and fantastic photography by all of the participants is pending on this event.

Howdy gurly! We had a GREAT time and I know you'd enjoy such an event (although we'd likely not do anything involving ropes). Even so, you'd enjoy it and you'd always have the option for extra climbing activities. These gatherings seem to have a high success rate and may be unique to Colorado. Perhaps we'll rendezvous at one soon!

"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."   --Calvin Coolidge
