Ya the colors are reaching their peak in the Wasatch right now. It is far from dull out there.

Your witty satier, endless comentary, and hilarous humor makes you a valuable member to the big SP Larry. What would we ever do without you? Happy Trails brother of the south.

Having been there for all 4 seasons, fall is the most colorful season for sure. In the winter this section of trail can be a steep and icy skinners nightmare....but the skiing up there always makes up for it. Happy Trails out there John

This picture really takes me back fifty years or more to when I made frequent trips into the Wasatch. It shows the bold glacial valley that twenty thousand years ago drained ice water into Lake Bonneville. I want to thank you for it.

You are more than welcome Nyle Walton. That day was perfect for fall color photography.....A glacier running all the way down the canyon would be cool...but probly not as colorful. Happy Trails

"You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know."   --Rene Daumal
