Re: Nice image!I liked your picture, so I voted on it. The particular thing that caught my attention was the reflection and shadow on the water.
I see from Google maps that this was taken in Austria. That's a beautiful country - I love the Alps - but I have only been to Austria once, to Linz (for business).
You have much better scenery than me. Michigan is a nice place, but unfortunately it has no real mountains. I have to travel far to get to any real elevation change.

Re: Nice image!Thanks, Chinigo! In fact, I was standing in Germany (the river, which is named Salzach, marks in this area the border between Bavaria in Germany and Salzburger Land in Austria) looking over to Austria. But I'll say it again - it's hard to believe, isn't it?

Re: Nice image!Oh, I agree. There are many similarities. In fact, I am sure I could take a similar picture along the Kalamazoo River or St. Joseph River here in SW Michigan.
It would be next to impossible for anyone to tell in which country the picture was taken.
