24-July-2004: Hotlum headwall...
24-July-2004: Hotlum headwall and The Step. We crossed two snowbridges on Hotlum glacier. Trip led by Shasta Mountain Guides. Another party ahead of us had come up Hotlum-Bolam ridge. Patches of blue ice were present on the ridge route, so glissading is done for the season.

Having the climbers in there gives a good idea of the scale of that section. Good beta, too.
