I'm laying in my bed now. :) That was taken last Sunday 11/29/2009. Some of the photos I placed in the new area I started (South West Colorado Ice Climbing) are from the previous 2 ice seasons. The elevation at 2nd Gully is roughly 10,500.
Ice around Silverton forms up usually either first or second in the Colorado. Most of the time Lincoln Falls up by Breckenridge comes in first. Stairway to Heaven is getting climbed, but has some dicey spots (thin). I would climb tomorrow, as it has been very cold, but am without partner. I may try to climb Vermilion Peak in the morning.
