It was at least ten degrees below freezing that morning, but I was happy to be there to see the sun creeping slowly down the face.

Very nicely captured, I like the contrast of the rock veiled in the fog at the bottom and a beautiful blue sky on top.

Thank you Mountain Girl. Actually, the fog lifting from the snow covered meadow never reached the rocks, but it did add an extra measure of beauty to the scene.

Oh, Yes, El Cap, 3000 feet of pure majesty. I hadn't seen this photo in a long time. It brings back memories of that icy morning and my desire to catch the first light on it.
