3rd - 4th class rock outside of the couloir on the South (?) side of the peak. Heading to the ridge.

Hasn't voted | This is above Ohman Lake, which would be on the north side of the ridge. Judging from your caption, this section is before the prominent notch in the ridge, which we bypassed by assuming the ridge higher in the basin. Our intent was to find a Class 3 route on the ridge. Your great photo illustrates the conditions likely encountered by executing the entire ridge. Did you rappel the main notch or climb through it?
