3rd Gully

Rob, ready to start heading up the 3rd gully leading to Len Shoemaker Basin.

There is an obvious exit point to the left as you head up the 2nd gully that takes you to the 3rd gully. In reality, the 2nd and 3rd gully may be the same gully but for purposes of these pictures I am considering this exit point of the 2nd gully to be the start of of the 3rd gully.

The key to success for reaching Len Shoemaker Basin is to find the breaks in the cliff bands that will lead you higher into the basin.

I apologize for the poor photo quality, but this picture was submitted for informational purposes, not inspirational purposes. The weather on the day of this climb into Len Shoemaker Basin was horrible. The rain never let up so it was impossible to keep my camera lens dry, resulting in less than high quality photos.
