5.3 My Ass

5.3 My Ass
Our guidebook showed the 5.3 route we were leading going through this overhang. Instead, we climbed the center crack, traversed right, and then followed the crack system to the top. This turned out to be the CORRECT way to do the 5.3 Cording route. The overhang, which we toproped a little later, is on a 5.7 route not listed in our book. Until learning that, we dubbed this formation the "5.3 My Ass Overhang."
