5.4 Crack

5.4 Crack
There are two tiers to the pinnacle, a small base and then the summit block itself. This crack appeared to be the best way to get up the base. I estimate the difficulty as 5.4, and it is only about 25' high. On good rock, I would have soloed this with little trouble, but once I started up, the rock broke apart under both my hands and my feet, and I decided climbing it wasn't worth it. This pinnacle is composed of brittle breccia, and climbing on a rope might actually be more dangerous than going without one.
