5/9/05: In an unsuccessful attempt to climb Mount Hope, I did have a beautiful day to observe my surroundings. This photo displays a small section of the Southwest Ridge of Mount Hope, which I had traversed most of the way to the false summit, Point 13,542. Looking south in this picture, three popular 14ers of the Sawatch are visible: Mounts Oxford, Belford, and Missouri.
