Approaching the higher reaches of Cazadero. The photo shot at a large plateau with lots of rock formations. A glacier (or semi permanent snow field?) follows. You can basically follow the route of least resistence from here. Most climbers head for the pass in the left hand corner of the photo. The route I climbed goes up to the crater rim and then straight for the summit. I consider this an interesting alternative as you can have a close look at the crater.
