A close up of the belay at the top of pitch 4, this is the 100 ft 5.4 traverse. Note the belay hole is more of a body jam than an "approved" anchor.

Love these adventure climbs. Great photos!

PS you guys did not have any run ins with poison oak or bees did you? We're still "reminiscing" (that's "scratching") about our afternoon climb (was supposed to be) in SW Oregon over the 4th weekend.

Shirley had a work-related trip to Ashland (nice charming town BTW :) on Tuesday. On the way back we figured that "hell, came all the way down here for nothing?" Decided to stop in the closest crag to I5 mentioned by Orton guide: Jurassic Park.

Up we go thru. the bushes. And then the assault began....First some flying thingees (like a mini bee with a potent bite) swarmed on Shirley (guess we stepped on their nest). Then as we were running out of there (of course did not climb anything) we must've brushed up some poison oak. I discovered it a week later as I was scratching profusely; Shirley's reaction came a week later (real bad!!). To this day we're not fully recovered. Still catch myself scratching uncontrollably...Beginning to suspect the dog ;)
