A coiled diamondback...

A coiled diamondback...
A coiled diamondback rattlesnake near the mouth of Ventana canyon. This one gave me plenty of warning that I was unwelcome in his little area, so I moved on. Anyway, he was too cold to do much.

Some rattlesnake info including some basic first aid for hikers.
