A freezing night
Exhausted, but happy for the sun after a cold bivy on the Brenva Col. August, 2009.

reflecting very well in your eyes. Could be hard.
On 18th August we also bivied at Brenva Col, we have built a snow hole for 4 persons which was a 3 hours work. I think it can be used in emergency still today because it was very stable.

Wow, I'll bet that is an interesting story! What did you climb before the bivouac?

Arete Kuffner on Maudit
After the bivi we crossed MB to Vallot and next day back to Torino hut where we had our tents. And last day we have climbed the Geant.
