A: gap in cliff band | [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
This is the view of the first "crux", looking south, from a point just SW of Devil's Thumb. The gap is rather featureless; the fellow climbing through the gap is 6'2" tall. Comments[ Post a Comment ] | MoapaPk | ?waterfall? | |
Hasn't voted | Still a mystery.
This part of the route was bone-dry 3 days before your trip, and 8 days after your trip.
There could have been a waterfall in between, as there had been a patch of snow above that first section.
Anya tells me that the second pitch had a trickle of water running over part of the section 3 days before your trip.
