A gorgeous day in the Wasatch.

After checking the forecast last night for today it called for sunny skies and very little wind. The snow conditions of the Wasatch have finally gotten a skiable base to them! I skinned up to Twins Lakes Pass from Brighton, then up to the summit of Honeycomb Cliffs at 10,479 feet where this photo was taken.

Seen is Mt. Superior to the west, shrouded with clouds to the south. Also seen lower right is Cardiff Peak with it's little mast on the top. Cardiac Ridge extends from Superior to the right in the picture.

It was a perfect sunny day up there! Snow conditions were decent as well, about 6 inches of fresh powder from last nights storm. 1-27-2012.
