Hasn't voted | It could have been worse. Thanks to the installation of crash bars, there were only a few minor scratches. | | Posted Sep 23, 2009 1:18 am |

Hasn't voted | Heavy is right. It's close to 500 lbs. Add myself and all the packed gear to that and you've got yourself one heavy ride. A DR 300 would have been much nicer on the back roads. There were many times I was wishing for a dirt bike. Thanks for the encouragement! | | Posted Sep 24, 2009 8:59 pm |

Hasn't voted | I don't own a car so when I go to the mountains it's on two wheels. I bet you have a lot of back roads in Hawaii | | Posted Sep 30, 2009 9:39 am |

Hasn't voted | I've seen the result of those sliders and they work pretty well. Thankfully I have a good set of crash bars and they kept the damage here to a minimum. Only a few scratches on the bars and rearview mirror. | | Posted Oct 22, 2010 11:59 am |
