Hasn't voted | My parents and younger siblings were camping in RMNP and had left via this canyon the very day before the flood because they had not been able to get or extend (I can't remember which) their site reservation.
To this day I remember my mom excitedly calling and saying they were okay; not to worry!
Worry, not me. I hadn't even heard about the flood yet so I had no clue. However, my mom claims that it could have been them leaving the canyon on July 31st if they had gotten their original wish! | | Posted Jan 9, 2009 7:11 pm |
