A lurking cactus patch in a...
A lurking cactus patch in a hole at the summit. Careful where you step. The late Mrs. Van Daele also told me to be wary of rattlesnakes on the approach trail, which gets quite grown in on from the sides by mid-summer. You really can't see where you're stepping a lot of the time. Scale for this photo is about four feet from bottom to top of photo. July 2003.
