A Night in the Wilderness

Taken at 5:40 a.m. on September 24, 2011 with a 60 second shutter speed on Kyes Peak. Unexpectedly we stayed out a night in the woods without any sleeping bag or long pants which made it a cold night for the both of us. In the top of this photo is the moon with the sunrise colors starting to show below. It felt like hours before the sun finally rose.
