A pastel peek at Rising Wolf... | [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
A rather subdued, pastel look at the southeast face of Rising Wolf, taken while peering around Sinopah Mountain on the Two Medicine Pass Trail. What you see here is the eastern false summit, which is much more dramatic when seen while entering the area from the east. Photo by Vernon, July 6, 2005.

Voted 10/10 | The route we ascended is in this photo, generally following the gully on the left, following its right side, then ascending through many cliff bands, trending left toward the ridge line just right of the summit (mostly out of view). From there, it's a walk to the top. This portion of the route is time consuming. It took us six hours to reach the summit, mainly due to route finding and LOTS of climbing. | | Posted Aug 27, 2006 7:31 pm |
