A Plethora of Peaks
How many peaks can you name? Based on all maps that I have looked at, I can name The Owl, Barren Mountain, Doubletop Mountain, Mt. Oji, Mt. Coe, and South Brother Mountain. The mountains around Katahdin look incredible and I would love to spend some more time in the future in Baxter State Park exploring some of these places. Here we were finally up on the Tableland, making the shortcut around Baxter Peak on the Baxter Peak Cut-Off Trail, after our first ascent of the mountain.
