A Serpent Along the Way to Serpent Wall

A Serpent Along the Way to Serpent Wall

After 10 days of rain, this copperhead seemed as sick of the downpours as I was and as unwilling to yield its spot as I was to yield my access to climbing again at last. Finally, we compromised: I went well around the copperhead as it stayed put. Fair enough. Although I encountered this snake on my way to Serpent Wall, the meeting was actually in Sex Canyon. There is massive potential for innuendo in this! Reimers Ranch Park, TX

Re: Did not know......

Texas has all four types of U.S. venomous snakes. Some neighbors have seen rattlesnakes and coral snakes in their yards.
