A strange summit

A strange summit
Chiricahua Peak is a rounded and forested area but the fire of a couple years earlier messed up the tranquil feeling that this area must have had. In this shot, you get an unusual view of a "summit register" and the nearby USGS Benchmark. However, if you move to the west about 200 feet, views open up to the west and you again realize that you are on top of a mountain area.
