A trail is seen far below the summit of Jura Knob, possibly a route option not covered in any source material. Far above, the massive Engineer Mountain reigns over everything in grand style. This straight-on view of Engineer's north face is rarely seen in media. Note the glaciated valley, one of several that surround Jura Knob. Although not designated as such, this is a grand wilderness that should be treated and respected accordingly. San Juan Mountains, Colorado. Fall, 2004.
