A view to ESE from the south...
A view to ESE from the south face of Spire Peak. Pine Creek Pass is out of view to the right. The northeast ridge of Peak 12,563' is on the right edge of the photo. Mount Tom is the dark peak on the left edge of the photo.

This shot was taken from near the top of the 'loose chute' mentioned in Secor's guide, P. 320 ("Peak 12,470ft+" entry).
