Abandoned Queets River Road

If you want to take a nice drive, follow the Queets River road northeast from Highway 101 until it stops at a bridge crossing Matheny Creek. Cross the bridge on foot, walk up the road until you come to where the road is washed out along the Queets River. This is what you see walking toward the washout. It looks like mother earth has taken over. Kind of an eerie feeling, like we weren't supposed to be there. April 16, 2011
