Above Forca di Lanza
Descending from Monte Zermula by the east ridge, we cross broad, grassy slopes above Lanza saddle. Behind are Creta di Aip / Trogkofel and Monte Cavallo di Pontebba / Rosskofel, on the far right is the nearby Monte Pizzul. In the middle the bold Zuc de la Guardia is receiving sunshine. July 7th, 2009.
