Otherwise known as Painted Trillium (thanks to nartreb)

There were a few of these beauties on the way to Dix Mt.

Not sure which exact type, but it's a trillium. Beautiful flowers.

No problem. It also occurred to me that member mrh might know the exact type if you're interested. He seems to know a whole lot about botany.
