Yeah, the temperature in the valleys was 15 below zero the night before and when this shot was taken it was hovering around zero. Was a really nice crisp day and that snow dare not melt!

Looks can play ticks on the eyes. It looks almost warm. 15 below, whats the wind chill factor. I would need a -30 bag for that adventure.

The sun felt good but it was far from warm! I slept in my truck that night before and I thought it would be warmer but I really think the metal transmitted the cold! I used my -10 degree bag and was cold. I wanted my Helleberg tent!
