After crossing on my...
After crossing on my secondary log, I could see the usual log I could have crossed. It marked where the trail continued up the mountain, but I had to get back to it first. Two more tributary wade sessions followed by short stretches of heavy duty bushwhacking got me back to the trail. All this didn't sound too appealing on the way back, so I resolved to not chicken out on the usual log on the return to the car. July 13, 1995.
