After hiking the Mt. Tammany...
After hiking the Mt. Tammany via Red Dot Trail this is at an intersection of Blue Dot trail (on this photo) and the Mt. Tammany fire road. Blue Dot trail is heading down to the Dunnfield Creek. Photo taken in the end of January 2006 and does not show the usual winter conditions :-). It was an unbelievably warm January with a lot of rainfall.

yeah- looking at this picture brings back the memory of the rocky trails in this area and most of the AT in Penn.

I did alot of hiking there in the fall and your photo is dead on.
