After working around
the obstacle via the west side, the route drops down to a saddle between the obstacle and the slope that leads up to the summit area. Photo taken by
gjagiels and route added to it by me.

gotta keep chipping away at that list.
That's some obstacle! Looks like
limestone - for a minute, I thought it
was Notch Peak. Did you guys do The Toad?
Fasinating formation, none-the-less.

No, no Toad for us on this trip. I may have a pic of it somewhere as we were looking right down on it from the summit but alas, we had a five hour drive to get home from the TH and so the Toad has to wait until the next trip out there. The Wah Wah's are my next goal out there and a visit to Crystal Peak.
