Ahern InversionView of Stoney Indian, Cleveland and basically half the glaciers in the park made this peak amazing. Also had an incredible inversion in all the east side valleys on our summit. Definitely would do this as an overnight or it would be a huge day! It was a big day even with one night at Granite!

Long DayLong day from Logan Pass. Climbed it again (twice in a day!) on a 1.5 day trip to climb Ipasha from Logan Pass.

AhernPart of a 3 day. Started at packers roost to fifty mountain. Climbed Kipp on day 1. Poor weather delayed day 2, but we still managed to climb Cathedral. We broke camp, climbed Ahern, and investigated Ipasha before hiking down to the loop on day 3. With Sean and X (and her 100th peak)

Best Day of my SummerI took a Turkish lad and my climbing friend from Iceberg Lake trailhead to Ahern Peak via Iceberg Notch and back via Swiftcurrent Pass with a detour at Granite Park Chalet to fire up my Turkish friend's spirit as this was his first ever hike of his life other than St. Mary Falls! He still hates me but thanks me to this day.

2010En route to Ipasha Peak via the yo yo route from Many Glacier with Ely & Tyler. One of my all time greatest days in the mountains. Ahern is a very worthy objective in its own route. I recommend this peak whenever I have the chance.
